ICCCAD is the first International Conference on Creativity and Cognition in Art and Design

"Creativity" is a topic of immense interest to Researchers and Practitioners of multiple domains working towards understanding the process of Creative application as well as in the workings of Mind and Brain in creative endeavors.

National Institute of Design (NID), India and National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS) present a three day International Conference on Creativity and Cognition in Art and Design (ICCCAD 2017).

It is our endeavor to bring together "Practitioners of Creativity"from various fields of Arts and Design and "Researchers of Creativity" from varied disciplines of Cognitive and Neurosciences, and Humanities together on a common platform. This Conference is an attempt to start a conversation between both these divergent groups to deliberate on aspects of Creativity.

The Conference aims to provide a platform to interact, collaborate and develop mutually informed theories and practices.
